Travellers who want to reach the beautiful island of Zante in Greece have two options when it comes to accessing the island by air.  They can either book a direct charter flight from major British airports during the summer tourist season (April thru October) or can fly into Athens, where daily flights depart from the Greek capital and arrive in Zante within 45 minutes.

Arriving in Zante the airport is located in Ampelokipi and is about 3km from Zante Town and situated between the resorts of Kalamki and Laganas. The only option for transportation from the airport is taxi.
